Tailor Trade minutes (1816-1829)

Charged by the Masters from their Customers – which was
also agreed to and both were appointed to be inserted in
the Sederunt Book and signed by the members of the
trade – thirty copys of each were also appointed to be
wrote out – and one of each given to evry Master
in the course of next week – to regulate his conduct
in both respects – there was also a petition presented
by the Deacon from Mrs Cochran for some support from
the trade as her husband had gone to London, and she
was in distress – the trade appointed the Boxmaster
to give her 10 shillings as he saw she wanted it –

At A metting of the Taylor Trade It was
Agread, ^that^ the true Geanies voated formerly
for the Benefit of the Orphen Instutition
to Pay it as a Donnation

At a meeting of the trade it was resolved to give
^Stwart^ ~[?]~ Duncan 10/ per year for attending on Sunday to
the South Church Seats and for keeping them clean –
It was also resolved that in future the Deacon shall
attend evry Sabath morning at the regular hours
of worship in the seat belonging to the trade in the
