Dundee 26th March 1816

At a meeting of the taylor trade Deacon
Low in the Chair it was unanimously
agreed to Admit James Rough Aprentice
to David Watson to the Previliges of a free
aprentice in Paying the uswial Dews
viz Three Pounds Sterling Thos Low

Dundee 8th Aprile 1816

At a meeting of the taylor trad Diacon
Low in the Chair it was Agreed to Reduce
the Jurnemens Weekly Wages to fourteen shillins
Per Week and likeways a Comite Appointed
to Regulat the Prices viz David Watt
George Scott Wm Young Rt Mccash
Wm Matthewson Thos Malcom
David Watson Thos Low

Dundee 15th April 1816

At a meeting of the trade this evening the committee
Appointed by last minute brought forward a statement
of prices of piece work in proportion to fourteen shillings
per week which met with the Approbation of the members
present and was Appointed to be intimated by each
master to his men in the course of this week the
payments of the statement (either wages or piece work)
to commence the week following – There was also prod-
-uced by the committee a statement of prices to be
+ to be paid to the Journeymen
