Dundee Octr 28 – 1822
At a meeting of the Trade held
this evening it was agreed that a proposed
alteration and improvement regarding the
Trades seats in the Old Church ^should be^ ~which was~
remitted to the standing committee & David Mills
& ~James A~ James Anderson should be
added to the Comitte –
it was also resolved to pay Mrs Duncan
one shilling additonal to her salery not to exceed
Martymas first
on the Motion of Deacon Malcom seconded by
Mr James Brown that Mr David Clark should
be applied to to se if he would serve the
Trade as their Officer – which was unanimously
agreed to at same time the Boxmaster was orderd
to ^pay^ Hon, Barrie the arears ^cess for^ of 1816-17-18-19 & 20 –
amounting to along ^with^ Assesment for Riat in 1816 to £2-10-3
