Dundee Nov 21 – 1826
Which day a meeting of the Sailor Trade
was held for the purpose of examining the
Deacon & Boxmasters Intromissions for the
year bygone
Deacon Malcom Moved that he
should be prosecuted by the Trade for a
seat rent he owed to their funds, which motion
was seconded by Deacon Beanstone – John young
moved that ~the~ debt be booked up Against
him the same as their other debtors which
was carried –

A Meeting of the Trade was held in the
Hall this evening – at which the Accounts
of the Trade for the last Year were read
over and docqueted as per separate Book –
Mr John Young was unanimously re-elected
Box Master of the Trade –
The following Gentlemen were unanimously
elected Councillors for the Year – viz Convener
Young – Deacon Beanston – James Henderson
& John Ferrier – –
