Dundee 7th May 1816
at a meeting of the Tailor Trade this Evening
for the purpose of Electing a Director ~for the~ to
Represent the Trade for the ensuing Year
in the Management of the Dundee Lunatice
Asylum, The Deacon was unanimously Elected
for that purpose, it was likewise agreed to Continue
Mrs Willm Smiths sick Allowance till farther
Consideration

Dundee 18th May 1816
at a meeting of the Tailor Trade this Evening
a petition from the Journeymen praying
for a rise in their Wages, was laid before the Trade
the meeting being verry ill attended the petition
was ~agreed~ orderd to Ly on the table till a
future meeting
At same time the Boxmaster was orderd to Pay
on the Term Day to the Following Persons as follows
Messrs Ogilvy and Dick one Pound Each –
Widows Peattie & Geo Smith Ten Shillings Each
Widows Wilson, Duncan, Robertson, Anderson, Reid
Fyfe, Strachan, Willm Smith & Dick Two Pounds Each
it was also agreed to Reduce Mrs Willm Smiths weekly
Allowance to 3 Shillings Weekly till her Case
is taken into Farther Consideration
