The Deacon, Boxmaster & Deacon Beanston
was Appointed to Wait on the Boys Cautioner
Report the Same & hear his Answer & Report
to the first Meeting

Dundee 25th Sept 1817
The Trade haveing met to consult upon their
affairs it wase unanimously resolvd to reelect Deacon
Young as Deacon for the insuing year and he wase
accordingly reelected & Mr James Gilatly reelected
as Convinor for the ensuing year
A Coppy of a remonstrance aganist the Magestrates
wase also presented & the Dicon wase Desired
to sign at which he did accordingly, Dicon
Beanston wase elected interem Counselor, in the
room of Mr G. Scott he haveing left the Country

The Trade Being met for the Purpose of
Liting Two Gentlemen for the Harbour
Commissions when the Two Following Gentlemen
were According Litted Mr Geo Milne & Mr
James Chalmers Booksellers – at Same Time
Recommending Mr Tho Ivory as the Third to fill up
the Trades Commissions
