Dundee 27 Septemr 1827. – At a Meeting of the
Trade held this Day for the purpose of
choosing a Deacon & voting at the election
of Magistrates for the ensuing Year Deacon
Feathers was unanimously re-elected for the
ensuing Year – And he was requested to vote
for Alexander Balfour as Provost – and
for Mess: Thos Bell John Symers Andrew
Brown and James Soot as Bailies – and
for David Miln as Treasurer – Deacon
McCosh was appointed assessor to Deacon
Feathers at the General Fund Court. –

Hall. Deacon Feathers accepted of the
office of Deacon conferred on him at
last Meeting – And Deacon McCosh also
accepted of the office of Assessor –

Dundee 10 October 1827. – At a Meeting
of the Trade held this Day for the admission
of William Guthrie as a Member of the
Trade – it was unanimously resolved to
admit him upon his paying one half of the
Dues in Cash & granting bill with sufficient
Security – ~but not to grant any Certificate~
