At a Meeting of the Trade held this Day
within the Hall Mr James Feathers ap-
peared and stated his acceptance of the Office
of Deacon conferred on him – A vote of thanks
was then passed to Mr Robt McCosh the late
Deacon for his Conduct. – James Feathers Dr

Which Day a meeting of the Tailor Trade
was held for the purpose of admitting
Peter Scott apprentice to William Ferrier
Master Tailor here, to all the privileges &
immunities of a free apprentice to the
Tailor Trade – which was accordingly done
after the fees Viz three pounds five shillings
sterling having been paid to the Boxmaster
of the Trade – David Duncan gave notice
of a motion which he intended to make next
meeting of the Trade for the reduction of
the present rate of quarter accounts paid
by the Members – Deacon McCosh also gave
notice of a motion which he intended to make
next meeting Viz that no member in arrears
to the Trade shall derive any Benefit
from
