Which day the Tailor Trade met
for the purpose of collecting Quarter
accounts & transacting any other business
that may be brought before it –
It was agreed that two of the
present tables be joined together & coverd
with green cloth & placed in the middle
of the room & also ^that^ the seats may be
coverd with wilton carpet

held in their hall – The Deacon laid before
the trade, a letter from the Tailor Incorporation
of Dysart requesting aid in defending their
Corporate rights before the Court of session
The trade did not consider themselves
warranted in giving any of their funds for that
purpose
