in all Two Shillings & Sixpence per week_
The Meeting thereafter authorised & directed
the Boxmaster to pay One Pound to
Bailie Smith High Street – with a re
quest that he would lay out the same
for behoof of Alex. Lamb in such man
=ner and in such Sums as he may
judge proper. – It was then unanimously
agreed to that the Officer ~Bailie~ should
be allowed a pair of Shoes & the
Boxmaster was accordingly instructed
to pay the price of the same._

Which Night a meeting of the Committee
of the Tailors was held it was agreed that
Margaret Black be allowed the Sum of
Ten Shillings ~to purchase~ ^for^ Shoes or
any other thing that may be for
the benefit of that person
