Dundee ~18~ Nov. 1824
At a meeting of the Tailor Trade called for the
purpose of collecting the quarter accounts and appointing
auditors for to examine the Boxmasters accounts
the following were appointed for that purpose
Viz Wm Young Wm Matthewson Thomas Adamson
and James Bwan ~for the 22nd~ day of Nov. at 7
Oclock in the Evening

At a Meeting of the Trade held in the hall
this Day the ~Trade~ accounts of the Boxmaster
for the past Year were read over – and having
been likewise looked up were docqueted by
the Members present. –
The Meeting ordered Two pounds to be
paid to the following Widows viz Widow Duncan
Robertson Reid Strachan Smith Dick Mc
Donald Ogilvy & McDonald Watson & Leighton. –
And a Petition having been presented from Mary
Watson Wife of Dav Watson ~that~ craving some
assistance the Trade ordered One pound to be
paid to her. – They likewise ordered the Boxmaster
to pay eight Shillings on account of the funeral
Expences of agnes anderson – also to provide a
pair of strong shoes for Stewart Duncan the
Doorkeeper. –
The Trade dispensed for the present
occasion with the Reading of the Sederunts. –
The trade directed the rents of Margt
Crichtons house & James Baynes to be thirty eight
shillings in time to come, – each, commencing at the
present Term. – Also Widow Hunton One Pound Twelve
