The Meeting then proceeded to the election
of Deacon when Robert McCosh was
duly elected to that office

Dundee 4 October 1824
A Meeting of the Trade was held in the
hall this forenoon when a Certificate of the
new Deacons Appointment was delivered to
him. –
A motion having been made that
the Sederunt Book should lye open in the
Hall for the inspection of such Members
as might desire to examine it, – it was una-
nimously agreed to that the Hall should be
open at Seven OClock in the evening of Mon-
day next and the Sederunt Book ready
for that purpose – and that if necessary
another Meeting might be held for the
same purpose as any of the Members
might require. –
