At a Meeting of the Trade Held this Evening the Case
of Mrs David Watson Senr was taken in Consideration
when it was agreed to give for her relief one Pound at this

At a meeting of the Council held in the Trades room
the Deacon laid before the ~meeting~ Council that Mrs Leighton
from Aberdeen was requesting her half yearly annuity when
the Council agreed to give her 10/ and to refer the ~rest~
balance of said annuity to a meeting of the Trade

At a Meeting of the Tailor Trade held in their
Hall this evening for the purpose of electing an Interim
Boxmaster in the room of Mr William Matthewson the
present Boxmaster who has positively refused to attend any
of the Trades meetings in their Hall Mr James Peathes
voluntary offered to serve as Interim Boxmaster to
Martinmas being the time of the annual election. The
following Gentlemen were appointed as a Committee to
examine the intromissions of Mr Matthewson previous
to the Interim Boxmaster receiving the Books &c vizt
Deacon Young Robert McCall and the Clerk. It was
agreed that a meeting should be called on 7th July for the
purpose of delivering the Books funds and papers ^to^ the ^interim^ Box-
=master. The Deacon was ordered to intimate these
resolutions to Mr Matthewson.
