The Tailor Trade being Met by Appointment in
their Hall for the Dispatch of Business
Present Deacon Watt Robert Moosh, Alexr Aers
James Feathers Robert Brown Thos Peter
Thomas Malcom & Willm Young & Wm Matherson
It was Unanimously agreed to pay the following
Named Widows as Follows
Widows Duncan, Wilson, Robertson, Reid
Strachan Leuch, G Smith, F Mcdonald
Dick & Ogilvy 30/ Each and Mrs Mcdonald
20/ to be paid at this Term in All L16 –
it was also agreed to pay to Deacon Watt at
this time ^Fifty^ ~[?]~ Pounds in Part of the Cash Due
him With the Interest of the full Sum – and
Give him a Letter for the Ballance of Eighty five
Pounds Still Due, Deacon Watt was Duly
Elected to Serve as Directors From the Tailor
Trade, to the Lunatic Asylum for the Ensuing
Year, it was at a former Meeting of the Trade Stated
That David Stephen is verry poorly in his Health and
and Unable to attend to business – at Which Meeting
it was proposed to make a present of Five Pounds to him
Being the Sum formerly Exacted from him as a fine
for Refusing to Serve the Office of Deacon When Elected
The Meeting Resumed the Consideration of the above
Proposition When it was agreed to Pay David Stephen
