The Tailor Trade being met on their Ordinary affairs
Willm Young presented one of his Apprentices
Indentures for the purpose of having the apprentice
Booked a free man To the Trade, the Indenture
of Willm Third was Examined and found without
exception he was Ordered to be booked up
by his paying the Ordinary Dues –

Dundee 29 March 1825
At a meeting held this day the Deacon produced a
Letter from the Town Clerk to him intimating the intention
of those interested to repair the Churches, and calling upon
the Trade to produce their Titles to the Seats held by them
in said Churches, and attend a meeting on Thursday next.
The meeting in consequence made a Search among their
papers and found a Disposition by the Hammermen Trade
to the Tailor Trade of certain Seats in the Church, and a
Declaration by the Weaver Trade relative to alterations thereon
also an act with regard to those Seats, which were delivered
to the Clerk, and he was authorised to attend and produce
the same at said meeting on Thursday next
The Boxmaster was authorised to pay Widow Lighter
a Shilling a week till further orders.
