Dundee 6th January 1825
At a meeting of the Tailor Trade held in their Hall this day
John Paterson Tailor in Dundee was proposed & unanimously
admitted a free master in and full ~master~ Member of the
Trade with all the immunities and privileges thereto
belonging upon payment of the customary dues of
admissions. –
The meeting authorised the Boxmaster to advance
Twenty pounds from the funds of the Trade towards
their proportion of the Expence of the action presently
depending before the Court of Session betwixt the ~Nine~
Trades and Three Trades alluded to in former minutes,
and likewise agreed that no handsel should be paid
the ^poor^ widows till the funds be improved
