At a meeting held this Evening – the Deacon Laid
before the Meeting that it was required to pay Twenty
~[?]~ ^Pounds^ of the Law Expences, Due Mr Saunders
or Mr Imrie or Both, the Deacon was orderd
to See the Same payed but to take Care that he
Got a Sufficient Discharge or receipt for the Money
A Petition was Laid before the Trade From David
Clark Praying to be put on the funds as a
Weekly Pentioner, the Trade order the Said David
Clark, to be payed one Shilling & Sixpence Weekly from
this Date, at Same time the Trade order the Boxmaster
to pay Mrs Watson Senr five Shillings for present
Reliefs – the Trade also order the Boxmaster to Continue
to pay Widow Duncan One Shilling Weekly as has been
done Some time before, in addition to her Weekly Salary
it was also orderd to Give the Same person A Flannel
Jacket for her Comfort and Satisfaction during the
present Winter, the Trade order the Deacon & Boxmaster
To Summon Robert Nimmo to the Justice Court for
the Sum of One pound Ten Shillings Due the Trade
by him for his Mothers House rent, if the Said Robt
Nimmo will not pay the Same without Such a Measure
