Present Wm Kirkland Thomas Key

The Committee took into consideration the
clauses in the different Act relative to the ~persons~
priveleges claimed by the persons wishing to
exercise their trades without being regularly admitted
from which they were clearly of opinion that such
priveleges could only be claimed when the Corps had
been actually embodied and called out into actual
service but before proceeding to take any steps
the Preses having intimated that he could write to
Edinburgh and Glasgow for full information
upon the point the Meeting agreed to defer further
procedure intil such confirmation was obtained
and laid before them
