The Tailor trade met this Day for the election
of a Convener to the nine trades of Dundee
The trade after having taken the oaths
against Bribery & corruption &c Mr Thos
Clark was elected as the candidate from
the trade on the return of the Deacon
from the Common Hall he announced to
the meeting that Deacon Scott of the
Cordwainer trade was elected Convener
for the ensuing year

At a meeting of the Tailor Trade held in their Hall
this day, James Webster Tailor in Dundee was proposed
as a member and Master of the Trade, was admitted
and entered accordingly after having satisfied the
meeting of his qualifications & paid the dues exigible from
an unfreeman

Dundee 28th Septemr 1826
At a meeting of the Tailor Trade held in their Hall
this day Mr James Feathers was duly elected as Deacon
of the Trade for the ensuing year; and the ~present~ Deacon
Mr Maccosh was appointed to represent the Trade for the
same period in the ~[?]~ ^General fund^ Court. –
The Deacon was instructed to vote in the
Election of Magistrates, Town Treasurer &c as he shall
think proper
Quarter accounts were collected from the members
present.
