A Meeting of the Tailor Trade being Held this
day ~Mr~ David Watt was duly Accepted In
to the office of Deacon – and a Certificate
of His Election Given him To Present to the
Council this day –
It was also agreed by the Trade at this
Meeting to Paint the Windows of the
Murraygate Property James Malcom Dn
Dundee 11th October 1820
This being the day appointed by the Act of
Parliament for the improvement of the Dundee
Harbour, to Elect Commissioners to See the
Works carried into Effect, Messrs James Chalmers
and Willm Mathewson was Nominated to stand
as Candidates, for the Purpose of Serving as
Commissioner for the Ensuing Year

Commitee to Settle the Law process now pending
the Deacon & Box Master were appointed to
that office Likewise that a weight be got for
for shutting the door of the old Church as it was
much Complaind of on account of the Cold David Watt Dn
