At a meeting of the tailor trade
to take into Consideration the process to
be put in execution against Messrs Lairds
Beanstones it was Unanimously agreed
in Consideration of them jointly paying
~paying~ the Sum of 20£ Sterling to give
them a free discharge

At a meeting of the ^Trade^ Quarter Accounts was collected
the Trade Deputed Mr Peter Matthewson to wait
on Mr Geo Watt or the Person acting for Mr Watt
~when Mr Matthewson had~ to know their determin-
-ation Relative to the Property in the Murraygate
belonging to the Corporation and possessed by Mr
Watt as Mr Watt had lately stopt payment and
shut his Shop – Mr Matthewson Returned for
Answer – from Doctor Flagg – as Representative
for Mr Watt that he was Ready to Renounce
the Lease held by Mr Watt when the Trade thought
Proper the Deacon & boxmaster is accordingly ordered
to put a Ticket on the property and Let it to the
Best advantage – it was Moved and
Unanimously agreed to admit Mr Tho Adams
