The Tailor Trade being met for the Purpose of
Nomenating Candidets ~for~ to Serve as Harbour
Commissioners ^for the ensuing year^ ~When~ Mr James Chalmers & Willm
Young was put upon the Leet to be voted for – for
That Purpose at Same Time Willm Young
Was appointed to Serve as Assessor of the General
fund Court for the Ensuing Year –

At A Meeting of the Tailor Trade held this
Evening Quarter Accounts Was Collected –
at Same Time Messrs John Ferrier James Feathers
Willm Young and John Young was appointed
Auditors to Examine the Boxmasters Accounts
At Same Time an attested List of the Poor was
Presented before the Meeting
A Claim was Presented by Mr James Watson Said
to be in consequence of an informality in the Disposition
or Conveyence of the Feilds ~of~ ~Corse~ Hill in the
Burgh Acres of Forfar Formerly Belonging
to the Tailor Trade but Disposed to the Said
Mr James Watson the Trade Do Order the Deacon & Box
Master To Take the Best Legal Advise as to the
Claim and Report to the Trade as Soon as Convenient
