pay his dues within a certain time now elapsed,
the Trade authorised and instructed the Clerk forthwith
to institute an action of damages against Francis Banks
at the instance of the Deacon and Boxmaster for
damages &c on account of his encroachment on
their privileges, and to carry on such action
to a conclusion as soon as possible.

Dundee Jany 9 1822
At a meeting of the Taylor Trade this Evening
it was agreed to give the Widows the same hansels
as they got last Year as also to give Mr Robertson
in room of Mr Ogilvy the Town Allowance Jas Dick
Geo Fairweather and Alexr Langlands same as last
Year same time it was agreed to continue the
Quarter Accts untill May 1823 ^& then to be taken into consideration whether they shall be continued or not^ it was likewise
agreed that Jon Beanston should give his Bill
for five Pounds Stg bearing interest untill paid
in lieu of the debt due by him to the Taylor Trade

At a meeting of the Tailor Trad held this evning
for the purpos of Colecting quarter accounts.
it was Mooved and agread to that the Deacon
& Boxmaster and Mr David Mills be a committer
for the purpos of making inquirys concairning
the Chimney Tops of the Murraygait property
which ar said to be in bad repair and to get
the opinion of Mr Alexr Robertson theron
and on his report to get them repaird if needfull
