pay the same to the respective Tradesmen on
their Receipts, and when paid to take Credit for the
amount in his accounts with the Trade.
The meeting then fixed upon the following Members
to audit the Boxmasters Accounts for the present year
vizt Robert Jobson, John Beanston and Thomas Adamson
to meet with the Boxmaster and audit his accounts
on Monday the 24t Instant at 8 oClock evening.
Quarter accounts were called for and to a certain
extent collected.

Dundee 25 Novr. 1823
At a Meeting of this Trade this evening the Regulations
of the Trade were read over in terms of a former
Sederunt. –
A Letter having been read from P. H. Thoms
Manager of the Forfarshire Insurance Coy regarding
the Insurance of the Property in the Murraygate
belonging to the Trade – whereby it appeared that
the Insurance might be effected cheaper that it
at present is, the Trade directed the ^Deacon & Boxmaster~[?]~^ to
procure an Insurance to the extent of L480 upon
the Fore & back Lands, & L20 upon the small
house between them. –
The Meeting directed the Clerk to
look up the Boxmasters Accounts for the past
Year. –
The Meeting also directed the Box-
master to pay an account presented by Willm
Craigie Slater – amounting to – L1.7.6
and one to Tho Malcolm amounting to – 6
