Dundee 5 January 1819
The Council being met there was present
the Deacon & Boxmaster Mr John Young
James Leathers & Thomas Peter
the Deacon Reported that he had got at
the Toun Council meeting of yesterday
the sum of one Pounds six shillings and one
halfpenny the Council Agreed to add to
that sum 12/11 1/2 and gave 3 shillings each to
the following persons James Dick & Alexr
Ogilvy Widows Anderson Reid Robertson
Wilson Dick W Smith Strachan Fife
McDonald Duncan & Geo Smith
The Boxmaster was accordingly ordered to
pay the same no other business being brought
Forward the Council adjourned

The Trade being met to take into
Consideration if it might be thought fit
to pay the funeral charges of Elesabeth
Stuart out of the Trades fund and
after considering the case it was settled
that the Deacon & Boxmaster should take
the whole on them and have it done on as
moderate terms as poseble
