Dundee 26th Novr 1816
The Tailor Trade being mett to Consider on their
affairs the Boxmasters Accts was Read over and
aproved. and ordered to be booked up – a Letter from
Alex Urquhart was Also Read ~the Contents is~
~agreed to~ Viz: the bill Due by him and Others, to the
Trade paid in Part £10..10/ and a Request of Six months
indulgence for the ballance, which after Some Consider
=ation was agreed to Not withstanding the Resolution
of Last Minute, the Boxmaster at same time
was Requested to Give Notice to Mr Crammond
that the money Due him by the trade, will be paid
up when Due – the Boxmaster was Desired to Give
Mrs Duncan a pair of Strong Shoes – with all possable
speed at same time. Wm Young

Dundee 29th Novr 1816
The Trade met to consider on their affairs when
the boxmaster brought forward the Books booked up as
Directed in the foregoing Minute they were signed by
the Trade – Mr John Ferrier was reelected Boxmaster
for the ensuing year – the following members were
elected councellors for the same period. Wm Matthewson
Robert McCosh James Dick Junr and George Scott
the boxmaster was ordered to get a new Bill from
Chas Urquhart his father and Brother for the money
Due on the old Bill, at six months Date – a Motion was
brought forward by George Scott and seconded by
