Dundee 19th Nov 1816
The Tailor trade being Regularly called, it was
Laid before the meeting that the Bill which fell Due
to be payed to the Trade, by Messrs Charles, Alexr
and Thomas Urquharts, Being the Ballance of Tho
Urquharts Entry to the Tailors trade on Saturday
the 16th inst had not been payd. The meeting
being willing not to Distress any Person or Persons
instructed the Deacon & Boxmaster ^and^ the Counsel
if necessary to Propose to the ~debtors~ ^said^ Charles
Alexr & Tho Urquharts that if they make immedia-
te payment to the Trade of Ten Pounds ten shilling
and Renewing the Bill for Six months with another
Cautioner to the Satisfaction of the Counsel they
the Trade will agree to Said Proposition
otherways the Deacon & Boxmaster is ordered to
Processeute for the Same, a Day from this date
will Be allowed the debtors to make up their
mind as to the offer from the Trade and no Longer
