It was also agreed that the accts of the small Book be brought
up quarterly and the ballance struck. and read over to
the trade when they meet to pay there quarter accounts
It was also agreed that in future a Committee shall be
appointed to examine the Books of the Trade a few nights
before the usual time of the accounts being made up
in order and shall bring them in properly Doqueted and
vouched for the Trade to hear them read over
The boxmaster was desired to get a pair of stout shoes for
Mrs McDonald – and give her 2/ besides – It was also
agreed to give John Cochran half a boll of good oat meal
and five shillings – and in three weeks after this date to
give as much money as make out the one pound Sterg
It was also agreed that in future it shall be the duty
of the four councilers to visit the sick, and poor of the
Trade; at least once a month to inquire into there situation
and give in a report quarterly to the trade on the quarter
Day. The visit Mr Stephen and Mr Robb to visit for the
remaining part of the present quarter – and there
afterwards two and two monthly and ~to~ meet before
the quarter Day to make up there report – and that
before the regular sickly aliment of the Trade is
given to a distressed Brother. the Boxmaster shall
get a councilers line who has previously visited him
