Which Day the Tailor Trade met to
read over the Boxmasters Intromissions for
the bypast year – which having been done
& the meeting satisfied Were ordered to
be locked up in the usual manner

Dundee 28 Nov 1827

Which day the trade met for the purpose
of reading over the Boxmasters accounts for
the bypast year – & electing a boxmaster &
Council –

The accounts being read were
approved of & ordered to be docqueted & signed
by the members present which was done
accordingly

The meeting proceeded to the
election of a Boxmaster, when James Reid Manuf
Scouringburn was duly elected to fill that
office for the ensuing year –

The following members were elected councillors
for the same period Viz Thomas Peter James
Webster, Deacon Malcom & convener Young
